For the app “Velva: Angel Numbers”. Effective 24 July 2026.
We respect your privacy and collect only the minimum needed to run the app. We do not sell your data and show no ads. We do use technical usage and crash analytics (Firebase), which never contains the contents of your journal.
Your email and password. The password is stored only in hashed form (bcrypt) — we never see it in plain text.
The numbers and times you save, with an optional note, mood, place, photo and timestamps. Your journal is backed up to your account to sync across devices.
The text of AI readings you generate and save alongside an entry.
When you request an AI reading, we send the number, its numerology, and compact structured signals from your journal (counts, streaks, moods — not your note text and not your birth date) to our AI provider Anthropic (Claude) to generate the response. We detect crisis language to gently point to support, and we do not use your data to train models.
We use Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) to see which screens are opened, which actions are taken, and to receive crash reports. These events record what was done, never what you wrote: we never send your saved numbers, notes, photos, birth date, or your identity.
If you sign in with Google or Apple, all we receive from them is a signed token and, where provided, your email and name. Such an account has no password. Apple may issue a private relay address — that is fine, we treat it the same way.
Payment is handled by the App Store or Google Play — we never see or store your card details. Subscription state is managed by RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous identifier for your in-app account so your subscription survives a reinstall or a new device.
No data selling and no ads.
Data is stored on our servers in a secured database. Access to your entries is protected by a personal token. We keep data until you delete your account.
You can view, correct, or delete your data. You can delete your account right in the app: Settings → Delete account. See the account deletion page.
The app is not directed at children under 13 (16 in the EU).
